Emrosi, minocycline ER 40 mg

Named-patient access overview. Emrosi is coordinated by Reserve Meds for international patients via physician-led cross-border sourcing.

About Emrosi

Emrosi (minocycline hydrochloride extended-release capsules, 40 mg once daily) is manufactured by Journey Medical Corporation and was approved by the US FDA in 2024 for the treatment of inflammatory lesions of rosacea in adults. The 40 mg daily dose is a low, sub-antimicrobial dose of minocycline; the clinical rationale is anti-inflammatory rather than antibacterial, which is the basis on which the FDA evaluated the MVOR-1 and MVOR-2 Phase 3 trials supporting approval.

Emrosi is taken orally once daily on an empty stomach as set out in the prescribing information, with the usual tetracycline-class precautions including photosensitivity, vestibular effects, and contraindication in pregnancy and in children under eight. For international patients, Emrosi may be coordinated through Named Patient Program or personal-import pathways with the destination country's regulator and the prescribing physician handling the documentation.
